01

Solar Water Pumping

The system operates on power generated using solar PV (photovoltaic) system. The photovoltaic array converts the solar energy into electricity, which is used for running the motor pump set. The pumping system draws water from the open well, bore well, stream, pond, canal etc. The system requires a shadow-free area for installation of the Solar panel.

A system with 1800 watt PV array capacity and 2 HP pump can give a water discharge of 1.4 lakh litres per day from a depth of 6 to 7 meters. This quantity of water is considered adequate for irrigating about 5-8 acres of land holding for several crops.

Advantages of a solar water pumping system:
  • No fuel cost – as it uses available free sun light
  • No electricity required
  • Long operating life
  • Highly reliable and durable
  • Easy to operate and maintain
  • Eco-friendly
02

OnGrid Solar Power Plant

On-grid or grid-tie solar systems are by far the most common and widely used by homes and businesses. These systems do not need batteries and use common solar inverters and are connected to the public electricity grid.

Any excess solar power that you generate is exported to the electricity grid and you usually get paid a feed-in-tariff (FiT) or credits for the energy you export. It helps to get up to zero electricity bills.

03

Solar Street Lighting System

Solar street lights are raised light sources which are powered by solar panels generally mounted on the lighting structure or integrated into the pole itself. The solar panels charge a rechargeable battery, which powers a fluorescent or LED lamp during the night.

Features:
Most solar lights turn on and turn off automatically by sensing outdoor light using solar panel voltage. Solar streetlights are designed to work throughout the night. Many can stay lit for more than one night if the sun is not in the sky for an extended period of time. Older models included lamps that were not fluorescent or LED. Solar lights installed in windy regions are generally equipped with flat panels to better cope with the winds.
Modern designs use wireless technology and fuzzy control theory for battery management. The street lights using this technology can operate as a network with each light having the capability of performing the turning on and off of the network.

Solar PV Testing And Maintenance

Solar PV systems are
extremely reliable but like most technologies, they still benefit from periodic maintenance to check efficiency and ensure maximum output.

With regular basic maintenance and testing you are able to ensure that your clients system is performing to 100% of its capabilities ensuring maximum returns from their investment.

The role of companies like Eventide Energy Pvt. Ltd is to solar PV components systems products, installations & attendant opportunities have open a gate to undertake, collect, record, details of reports of various laboratories was established ade to specialized in the technology.

Solar PV testing and
improve System performance by providing maintenance includes like:
  • PV systems overview
  • PV specific hazards
  • Safe isolation
  • Preventative & corrective maintenance
  • Checking PV performance
  • Factors affecting performance
  • Inverter faults and maintenance
  • Electrical testing and completing forms
  • DC polarity
  • Open-circuit voltage (Voc)
  • Short-circuit current (Isc)
  • Insulation resistance testing

Solar Water Heating System

Solar water heating (SWH) is the conversion of sunlight into heat for water
heating using a solar thermal collector. A variety of configurations is
available at varying cost to provide solutions in different climates and
latitudes. SWHs are widely used for residential and some industrial
applications.

A sun-facing collector heats a working fluid that passes into a storage system for later use. SWH are active (pumped) and passive (convection-driven). They use water only, or both water and a working fluid. They are heated directly or via light-concentrating mirrors. They operate independently or as hybrids with electric or gas heaters.[2] In large-scale installations, mirrors may concentrate sunlight into a smaller collector.

On cloudy days also, if it is for a day or two, you still get warm water as water gets heated due to diffused radiation available in the atmosphere. The system, however, is either connected to an electric geyser in the house or an electrical back-up is provided in the storage tank of the system which is switched on when water is not sufficiently hot. So, you get hot water all the time even on rainy days.

In the United States today, domestic hot water used in homes is most commonly heated with natural gas, electric resistance, or a heat pump. Electric heat pump hot water heaters are significantly more efficient than electric resistance hot water heaters, but also more expensive to purchase. Some energy utilities offer their customers funding to help offset the higher first cost of energy efficient hot water heaters.
